World Economy turns towards Asia…

The trade and investment component of the BIMSTEC countries has to be revitalized to be relevant as the trajectory of the world economy turns towards Asia. Ali Sabry, minister of foreign affairs.

The Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC19th )’s Minister’s Meeting, which was conducted virtually on March 9, 2023, is where he made this comment.

The lawmaker continued to speak at the meeting, expressing his opinion on the necessity of bolstering cooperative efforts to improve intra-regional trade while focusing on each country’s comparative advantages, and stressing the importance of BIMSTEC taking the lead in acting as a conduit to create a strong and dynamic private sector network to improve the flow of trade and investment.
