Woman dead as a result of Agricultural crisis……

This morning, a woman was fatally attacked with sharp objects in the Netolpitiya neighborhood of Weli Ara in Tangalle Police Division (March 27). 

The victim, R.M. Deepashika, 30, was employed in the same region as an Agricultural Research Officer, according to information provided by the Police Media Division. 

On her approach to field duty this morning, the deceased, who lives and works in the same neighborhood, was attacked with a sharp object by a local. 

The event, according to a report by Ada Derana, was the result of a heated argument that started when the suspect asked the Agricultural Research Officer for fertilizer the day before.
