University Student killed after struck by train…..

 Near the Bambalapitiya train station, a Colombo University student was killed after they were struck by a train headed for Moratuwa.

The tragedy happened this morning, April 17, as the young person attempted to cross the railroad tracks.

According to reports, the 24-year-old lives in the Kalutara North neighborhood.

Another development was the death of an 80-year-old man in Chunnakam, Jaffna, who was struck by a train and killed.

The old guy attempted to exit the train before it arrived at the station, but he tripped and fell down the railroad tracks, according to the police.
