The indian visa center to resume work today…

The Indian Visa Center in Colombo will resume regular operations for visa and other services starting on Monday, February 20, 2023, according to an announcement from the Indian High Commission in Colombo.

The IVS Pvt. Ltd. visa application center in Colombo was closed on February 15 due to a security incident, and a source told News 1st that a break-in was reported and that a police investigation had been started.

According to Sri Lanka Police, a group broke into the building and took two DVRs and a laptop.

Also, the burglars had removed cash from the location.

The Indian High Commission earlier requested that all visa applicants reschedule their appointments with IVS Pvt. Ltd.
