Sword found of the amputator….

The Mt. Lavinia Divisional Crimes Unit reports that the sword used in the recent mutilation of a man in Koralawella, Moratuwa, has been discovered amid the rocks in the coastline region off the Mosses Road area in Egoda Uyana this morning (March 26).

On March 21, in the Korelawella neighborhood of Moratuwa, the suspect was seen cutting off a man’s hands with a sword and then fleeing while holding the victim’s limbs in his hands.

Police stated that they believed a personal argument was the cause of the attack.

Later, on March 24, the suspect had turned himself in through a lawyer before the Moratuwa Magistrate.
