Swift Legal action to X-Press Pearl….

Dr. Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe, the minister of justice in Sri Lanka, has given the country’s attorney general instructions to take swift legal action to seek restitution from the business that owns the X-Press Pearl Wreck. 

The instruction had been provided by the minister during a meeting on Thursday (6). 

According to Rajapakshe, a thorough discussion was had regarding the procedures to be followed when bringing a lawsuit regarding the occurrence. 

Currently, a criminal prosecution against the organization that owns the X-Press Pearl is proceeding with a Sri Lankan court.
