Sri Lanka defeated the host nation Thailand 2-1 in the championship match to claim victory at the BNP Paribas World Team Cup Asia Oceania Qualifying Event of the Uniqlo Wheelchair Tennis Tour in Thailand.

Prior to that, Thailand won Group 1 after competing against South Korea and India, while Sri Lanka won Group 2 after defeating China 2-1, Australia 3-0, and Pakistan 3-0. At the competition, which took place from February 28 to March 3, Suresh Dharmasena, Gamini Dissanayake, and Pradeep Kumara delivered standout performances for Sri Lanka.
