Rise of Fuel limits to continue this week as well….

The rise in fuel limits for the holiday season will continue throughout this week, according to state minister of power and energy D. V. Chanaka.

Accordingly, the revised fuel quotas will be in continue this week as well, the State Minister said.

On April 4, in anticipation of the Sinhala and Tamil New Years, fuel quotas were revised. The quota for three-wheelers was increased from 5 to 8 liters; that for motorcycles from 4 to 7 liters; that for buses from 40 to 60 liters; that for cars from 20 to 30 liters; that for land vehicles from 15 to 25 liters; that for lorries from 50 to 75 liters; that for quadric cycles from 4 to 6 liters
