Refugees arrested amidst escape to SL….

The Indian Police announced on Wednesday that six migrants had been detained for allegedly planning to flee to Sri Lanka from Velankanni in the Nagapattinam District of Tamil Nadu (March 08).

During a raid, they were taken into custody from a hostel in Velankanni.

Kanujan (34), Jenibarraj (23), Dinesh (18), Bhuvaneshwari (40), Dushyanthan (36), and Satheeswaran (32), they stated, were the names of the detained refugees.
