New Secretary appointed for the Ministry of……..

The Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils & Local Government has named K.D.N. Ranjith Asoka as its new Secretary. 

Saman Ekanayake, Presidential Secretary, declared this in a special gazette notification on March 30. 

As of March 21, the new appointment is in effect. 

One of the senior administrative officers in the nation is Ranjith Asoka, who entered the Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS) in 1990. 

He was once the Ministry of Industry and Commerce’s Secretary. 

Neil Bandara Hapuhinna, a former ministerial secretary, was superseded by Ranjith Asoka after getting into trouble earlier this year over a letter he sent to returning officers regarding the Local Government election.
