According to a statement from the UK’s Royal Air Force, British and German fighter jets stopped a Russian aircraft Friday that was travelling near to Estonian territory (RAF).

While NATO conducts cooperative air policing operations in the area, it was the second such encounter this week.

The Russian military Tu-134 passenger flight, code-named Crusty by NATO, was being escorted by two Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker fighter jets, two AN-12 Cub military transport aircraft, and two Typhoon jets, according to the RAF.
