Kottu Price slashed….

With effect from midnight today, the cost of fried rice, Kottu, and a package of rice and curry will be decreased (April 05).

The cost of these food items would be decreased by 20%, according to Asela Sampath, national organizer for the All-Island Canteen Owners’ Association.

He said that the decision was made in light of the domestic gas cylinders’ recent price drop.

Also, the cost of a cup of plain tea has been lowered to Rs. 30, but the cost of a cup of milk tea has not changed and is still Rs. 90.

Based on the pricing methodology, Litro Gas Lanka Ltd. significantly reduced the cost of domestic liquefied petroleum (LP) gas cylinders.
