IMF approves Sri Lanka’s baggage recovery….

According to State Minister of Finance Shehan Semasinghe, the Extended Financial Facility to Sri Lanka was authorized by the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) at its board meeting today.
He added that tomorrow, President Ranil Wickremesinghe would issue a special statement regarding this (21).
The President’s Media Division also stated that the IMF Executive Board had approved Sri Lanka’s program under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF), as reported by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
With the initiative, Sri Lanka will be able to obtain finance from the IMF, international financial institutions (IFIs), and multilateral organizations for up to $7 billion.
