Four Police personnel arrested….

In connection with the incident in which a suspect who was detained at the Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) this evening escaped from custody, four police personnel have been detained (Feb. 25).

The OIC, a police sergeant, and two police constables who work for the Katunayake airport police are among the police officers who have been arrested, according to Police Media Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa.

In order to board a flight to Dubai using a false name, the suspect was detained when he arrived at Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), and he later escaped from police custody there.
