Doctor imposed detained…..

Last night, April 5, the Borella Police detained a guy for impersonating a doctor in the area of Colombo’s Lady Ridgeway Hospital in order to scam people. 

Similarly, the suspect had misled a number of people under the pretense that he was a doctor and could provide them prospects for employment abroad. 

The suspect, a 55-year-old Marawila resident who is currently staying temporarily in the Nittambuwa region, was apprehended after the person who had promised to make the necessary cash contacted the Borella OIC about suspicion. 

At the time of his arrest, the suspect was carrying a number of medical reference books and was seen carrying a stethoscope and a doctor’s costume.
