Covid 19 is con CEO…..

The national carrier of Sri Lanka has faced greater difficulties than many of its competitors. 

The impact of nations closing their borders during the pandemic and rising fuel prices as a result of the Ukrainian war has been felt by airlines all around the world. 

In its native nation, state-owned SriLankan Airlines is also dealing with the greatest economic crisis in decades. 

Its British-born CEO explained to the BBC how he intends to revive the business. 

When asked what his biggest learning over the past two years is, Richard Nuttall, CEO of SriLankan Airlines, quips, “I guess the first lesson for me is don’t ever go and be a CEO during Covid.”
