Colombo Fort Magistrate orders against the IUSF….

In advance of the protest the Inter-University Students’ Federation (IUSF) is preparing to hold in Colombo later today, the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court has issued an order against the demonstrators.

IUSF convenor Wasantha Mudalige and other student activists are prohibited by court order from marching through several roads in Colombo between 11:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. today towards Galle Face Green, the Presidential Secretariat, the President’s House, the Finance Ministry premises, and other nearby areas (March 07).

The court injunction further prevents them from obstructing vehicular and pedestrian traffic or harming public property during this time.
