China aids school uniform to Sri Lanka….

The distribution of school uniform supplies funded by China got under way in Colombo on Thursday (23).

In an occasion that was attended by the Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka and the Northern, Eastern, North Central, and Uva Provinces of Sri Lanka’s Education Minister Susil Premajanth, the first 3 million meters were distributed to 1.34 million children.

Before being sent to various areas of Sri Lanka, the Minister and the Ambassador were seen closely examining the school uniform supplies supplied by China.

For the upcoming school year 2023, 3,420,714 pupils across Sri Lanka will wear the China-Aid school uniform, regardless of their gender, ethnicity, or religious conviction.
