Challenge for poll to be held on the 25th….

It will be challenging to hold the local government election on April 25, according to state minister of provincial councils and local government Janaka Wakkumbura. 

Following a discussion between the Prime Minister and the Election Commission, he told media that the Election Commission would declare the election date before April 25. 

Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and the Election Commission of Sri Lanka met in Colombo at the Prime Minister’s Office.
