Anura says otherwise….

Anura Kumara Dissanayake, the leader of the National People’s Power (NPP), asserted that the President is soon to be joined by a number of lawmakers from the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB).

Dissanayake said this afternoon (02 April) at a rally in Kolonnawa that a number of SJB MPs have made the decision to back the President and will do so by joining the political parties of the government. Despite these allegations, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa emphasized that SJB members would not give up their positions in Parliament for cash.
