Amputator Detained….
The Mt. Lavinia Divisional Criminal Investigation Unit has been given 48 hours to detain and question the suspect who was arrested for the mutilation of a man by the Moratuwa Magistrate’s Court today (24 March).
Isuru Priyankara Peiris, a resident of Koralawella in Moratuwa who turned himself up to the Moratuwa Magistrate’s Court earlier today, was the target of the order.
On March 21, the suspect was observed cutting off a man’s hands with a blade before escaping with the victim’s limbs in his hands.
