A 24 year old detained……

A 24-year-old Piliyandala resident has been detained for using ATM cards to perpetrate financial crime. 

Similarly, the relevant person had roughly 15 ATM cards in his hands at the time of his arrest, according to the police. 

Investigations have shown that the arrested person would get the pin details of ATM cards under the guise of helping people who came to the ATM to withdraw money before keeping their ATM card and handing them a false ATM card in its place. 

The suspect was detained Friday night (10 April), according to the police, following the receipt of more than 50 complaints by different police stations, including Piliyandala, Kottawa, Dehiwala, Mirihana, and Maharagama.
