5 people detained for selling Gajamuthu….

For trying to sell three elephant tusk pearls (also known as “Gaja Muthu”) to a Chinese national for Rs. 12 million, five people have been detained.

The Matale District Court’s employees were two of the people that were arrested.

Three elephant tusk pearls that were among the court exhibits were among those that the suspects reportedly tried to sell.
