16 year Olds detained for a Fatal beating…

Three 16-year-olds have been detained by Welipenna Police for fatally beating a man with helmets last night (Feb. 14).

As a result of a heated debate, a gang of adolescents struck the 34-year-old victimized father of one with helmets yesterday night on a road in the Welipenna neighborhood, killing him, according to the police.

It has been determined that the deceased, Ranga Viraj, lived in Galmaththa in Welipenna.

While the others fled the scene, police detained a 16-year-old on suspicion of the event last night.

Two further individuals were detained today (Feb. 15), according to the Police Media Spokesperson, as a result of the police investigations.
